Pre-Wedding Aesthetic Countdown

8-10 Months Before

Schedule regular (monthly) custom facials or Hydrafacials to exfoliate away old skin cells, preventing dullness and breakouts. Growth factors applied topically with a Hydrafacial can help reverse the signs of aging, such as fine lines and wrinkles, and improve overall texture and tone.

6 Months Before

This is what we recommend doing 6 months prior to your wedding to feel confident on your big day.

  1. Begin series of four micro-needling plus platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatments.

Micro-needling creates channels in the skin, which readily absorb your own plasma’s growth factors, resulting in more rapid and robust collagen production. As a result, you’ll notice improved skin texture, hydration, firmness, and diminished fine lines before you say ‘I do.’

  2. Begin a series of four IPL (Fotofacial) treatments.

The non-invasive application of intense pulsed light is effective for blotchy pigmentation, rosacea, flushing, redness and dialated blood vessels. The face, neck, hands, chest and arms may be treated.

  3. Consider a ‘liquid facelift’ with Sculptra.

Sculptra works by both filling in fine lines and wrinkles and stimulating the body to produce new collagen and underlying tissue, creating a fuller, more youthful appearance.

  4. If you’re already using fillers to smooth away facial wrinkles and folds, now is a great time for a touch-up to maintain your desired appearance.

We are conservative with beginning fillers for the very first time prior to the wedding day. Our staff will analyze your skin and provide expert recommendations.

3-4 Months Before

Streamline your beauty routine and enhance your natural beauty with semi-permanent makeup to enhance your brows, lashes and lips. Semi-permanent makeup application typically requires two appointments, six weeks apart.

6-8 Weeks Before

Wrinkle relaxers – neurotoxins such as Botox, Dysport and Xeomin, are a wonderful way to temporarily smooth fine lines and wrinkles, creating a more relaxed, refreshed appearance. Since these can take some time to take effect and there is the potential for minor bruising and or swelling, we recommend implementing a course of wrinkle relaxers at least two weeks before the big day.

10 to 14 days (or more!) Before

Soothe stress away and impart that pre-wedding glow with a custom facial. Our medical aestheticians will select the treatment that’s right for your skin. Some benefits of a custom facial include improved skin tone, texture, brightness and hydration. A custom facial can include a very light peel, so we are always sure to give you plenty of time for any pinkness and peeling to dissipate.

We typically like to finalize treatments three weeks before the date, allowing you to be perfectly comfortable with your wedding look.
