I've been coming here for a few years now for adult acne. It is a nice office with polite and respectful staff. It's easy to find. Parking can be a little tight, but I've always found a spot. My doctor and the support staff listen and advise in a well-informed manner. I always feel confident leaving as we have a dialog, review options, and come up with a plan which is exactly what one wants in any Healthcare provider. They have a wide range of services, too. I'd certainly recommend this practice to others.

Dr. Weiss is wonderful—thoughtful, professional, and really listens. I appreciate that she takes my point of view into account and helps guide me in how to best care for my skin. I’m not interested in anything too extreme, but I don’t mind a little help here and there, and she totally gets that. Dr. McDonald is just outstanding. She is very pleasant and attentive. She is obviously very intelligent, and she listens carefully. She has directed me through a number of skin issues over the years, including two minor cancer surgeries. The results have been great. I could not ask for a better doctor than Dr. McDonald. In addition, over the years I have met quite a few of the attending staff members, and every one has been friendly and helpful. I consistently have such a pleasant experience at Central Texas Dermatology. Consistent may be a bit misleading because I’m typically a “once a year check-up” type of patient, but decided to make a one-off appointment due to some skin concerns I had. Dr. McDonald patiently listened to my concerns and put me at ease with her knowledge and advice for treatment. And it doesn’t stop there. The team at the check out desk is so friendly, too. It seems like a very well run doctor’s office where the entire staff enjoys what they do. If you have a need for a skilled and empathetic dermatologist, I couldn’t recommend the team at Central Texas Dermatology more.

This is a well-run practice and Dr. McDonald is a wonderful doctor. Very knowledgeable, takes her time, gets to know you, and very nice and personable. I guess I was one of the unfortunate ones. Dr. Olivia Chen removed a cancer on the inside of my nose by my eye, which I am grateful for, but left my face asymmetrical, due to too tight stitching? I'm not sure, but they kept telling me at Central Texas Dermatology that "the likelihood of it being asymmetrical is very rare and it's only happened twice ever in their history, so it would probably be OK." Who wants to be the very "rare" case that has gone wrong? Not me. Now, all-in, it's going to cost me about $1000 to get it fixed and it's not covered by insurance, since it's considered cosmetic. My new doctor, not Chen, BTW, thinks it can be fixed and I will have a second surgery for their mistake in December.
I would've given this one star, just because I'm so angry about it all, but Central Texas Dermatology also did something great. My son saw Melissa Binney for his acne and she prescribed a round of antibiotics, followed by Accutane. This really helped my son, who had pretty bad acne. His skin looks great today!
So, regarding surgery, maybe find out what their policy is if they make a mistake on your face. What will they do? Will they diminish your experience by telling you it almost never happened before, then walk away, like me? I hope not.

I feel like I'm listened to! and then conservatively cared for going on 9 years of visits with the same PA-C Melissa Binney. Very nice, efficient facility and people. They offer everything you could want for skin care. Cosmetic treatment though, now costs a great deal more than it did and you have to ask for it. No upsell or pressure to spend more than you are comfortable with in your great looking skin. 66Y M.

Dr. Halliday McDonald of Central Texas Dermatology is very knowledgeable and experienced, but also thoughtful, patient, thorough and conscientious (which is rare in many medical practices due to limits on appointment time, patient needs and paperwork demands). The practice of dermatology requires careful attention and regular visits when it comes to both skin cancer prevention and the many ways we can now keep our skin as healthy and beautiful as both nature and science will allow. Her staff is also kind, attentive and always put patient care first. As we get older, medical visits may become more frequent, so her bedside manner and their beautiful offices help alleviate the anxiety that often comes with MD visits.

On Monday, July 7, 2025 I met with my new dermatologist MD, Dr. Emma Weiss. She was very happy to meet me and began inspecting my whole body with my guidance of my own observations. I have a few spots of some concern, from my past of being in the sun and outside, as I am a golfer for life, as I am also a senior now. She took a biopsy of one spot on my back and addressed some scalp roughness with a special cream that I will begin in November when it is not so sunny and hot. Dr. Melissa Binney did a procedure (not sure of the name)to remove Basel Cell on my arm. It was not the Moehs procedure. Any way it was not painful and did not take long at all. This review is being posted late as I was waiting for my bank to settle my dispute, which they did in my favor.
I called in Jan to make an appt for a consultation for my husband for their CO2 laser to see if it would help with his dark circles. Originally I made two consultations for each of us and put down $200 for each consult ($400 total). When making the appt, I clarified multiple times with the woman on the phone that if we decide that the treatment isn’t beneficial for our concerns, that we would be able to use that deposit to other services. She said yes as long as the services are with that same provider. I thought great, if this doesn’t work out, I’ll have $400 worth of credits for Botox etc.
Closer to the date, I decide to cancel my consultation and they refund my deposit. My husband goes to his appt and the doctor inform him that the CO2 lasers won’t help his dark circles.
About a month after that I call to schedule an appt for Botox and use the $200 deposit that was put down. The guy on the phone tells me that’s now how their deposits work and I can only use it towards that service, and it is non transferable to other patients (since it was on my husbands acct). I asked for the issue to be looked into by higher ups because that was not what I was told originally.
After months of never getting called back and being given the run around, the manager called me back who was nasty out the gap. She told me that she listened to my original call and told me that i was given wrong information and that they weren’t going to honor what I was told about using the deposit for other circumstances. She was very nasty, and didn’t honor what they told me.
I had dispute the charge with my bank and it was refunded to me as the bank understood I was told something and then they changed it after the fact.

I have been seeing Mellissa Binney for over 10 years! She is wonderfully warm and caring. She has gone above and beyond to the extent of calling me from a national conference she was attending because she listened to a speaker dealing with a skin issue I was having. She called me on her personal time to suggest I try something until the next time we saw each other. No one does that any more these days!!! I wouldn’t trade her for anyone. When I started going to the practice it took me 45 minutes to get to their office and now over 90 min. I’ll still go no matter how long the travel gets. You don’t find people better than Mellissa!

Dr Trizna has been my dermatologist For nearly 20 years. We originally met for an annual full body inspection. Unfortunately, as I have aged it is becoming two or three times per year. Age really is not our friend. He always understands any issue I bring to him, and puts me at ease over every blemish, or rash that my 77 year old body throws. I cannot recommend him higher. I scheduled a cosmetic laser consultation, for which I paid a non-refundable fee of $200 upfront. However, during the appointment, I was told my skin wasn't suitable for the laser treatment I sought. Fair enough, I accepted that professional opinion. But what followed was a bait-and-switch tactic. The dermatologist decided to conduct a trial laser procedure on a small area without my explicit consent, all while referring me to another practitioner for the actual treatment I sought.
Adding insult to injury, a few days later, I received a bill from my insurance company for an office visit claim—something I was never informed about nor had any reason to anticipate. This claim amounted to nearly $200, with a significant portion expected from me. Central Texas Dermatology conveniently omitted any mention of this additional charge during my visit or in any prior communication.
Attempting to rectify this blatant act of deception, I reached out to the office multiple times, seeking clarification and resolution. To my dismay, my efforts were met with silence and indifference. It's evident that Central Texas Dermatology has no intention of addressing their wrongdoing or acknowledging their responsibility in this matter.
It is utterly reprehensible for a medical establishment to exploit patients in such a manner. I cannot say enough about Lia Stratton. After a few weeks of dealing with our 14 month old’s rash getting worse and seeing 2 previous providers, she was the first person to really help us out and figure out what was actually going on. Her constant communication throughout the process and going out of her way to check on our son meant so much to us. We truly appreciate all her help and are so thankful we made our way to her!

I was really nervous about my first ever injection appointment for my lips and was really unsure how to describe what I was looking for. As soon as I met Lily, she immediately eased my anxiety and really made sure to ask questions about what I want from the appointment. I trusted her completely and my lips look incredible! I had an excellent experience with the office especially Dr Eskenazi. He explained everything in a simple and easy way from start to finish. He is very kind and attentive and has an amazing bedside manner. He is also very compassionate and knowledgeable and went above and beyond by calling and checking in a week prior to my procedure and made sure every box is checked and that I felt ready for my treatment . I did fractional co2 laser for my eyelids and I am thrilled with the results. I am seeing visible skin tightening around my eyes and a huge reduction in wrinkles and dark circles.
Definitely will do it for the rest of my face and highly recommend it to any one.

Dr. Eskenazi is amazing! I could tell from the moment he started ‘teaching’. I trained residents for 15 years and it just brought me back. A true sign of a master is when they can explain it so simply and make it look so easy. I know you know that. You can also tell when someone is teaching to ‘check the box’ vs. when they truly care to teach you the correct way with all the pearls. LOL, my facial anatomy is a bit rusty, but I could tell the teaching technique.
He also has ‘great hands’. The discomfort was minor. Keep in mind, I’ve had some ‘experience’ (not just from anyone, but all ‘cherry picked’ docs) and I can say he’s the best I’ve seen. What a privilege it is to learn from him.

Actually, this review is by Keith Schumacher, Miriam’s husband. Dr. Procise and the entire team (Elizabeth, her assistant) and staff at CTD were excellent from start to finish. They were extremely reassuring during the entire facial Mohs surgery process, focusing initially on the removal of all the cancer cells from under my eye (a seamlessly successful result), and then turning her attention to the all-important — to many people — cosmetic aspect of the surgery. If the resulting scar, or lack thereof, is as important to you as the cancer removal, look no further than Dr. Procise’s practice. Her attention to detail on leaving my face with as unnoticeable a scar as possible was extremely impressive. Would that I were 24 and not 74! Regardless of your concerns, I recommend Dr. Procise and Central TX Dermatology wholeheartedly and unconditionally. And a shout-out goes to our wonderful dermatologist, Dr. Renee Snyder at Snyder Dermatology, for the strong recommendation.

Dr. Prosise and her team make having surgery actually enjoyable! They are kind, gentle and caring and Dr. Prosise is an incredibly talented surgeon. What can I say… Central Texas Dermatology may have saved my life. I had some concerning spots checked out by a different dermatologist and got a clean bill of health. I felt I needed a second opinion and Melissa Binney with CTD found two spots that turned out to be melanoma. Dr. Prosise removed them and CTD took great care of me. I can’t say enough about how great they are over there.

Let me start off by saying, Lia Stratton is incredible! She was the first dermatologist that actually listened to me, empathized with me and prescribed me something that completely cleared my skin. I was so comfortable with her and thankful that I came to her. Her nurses were always so kind and welcoming as well!
My only reason for the 4 stars is that I came across multiple front desk staff that were not very welcoming. It seemed like it was directed only at me, as I watched them be very kind to other patients. I’m not sure what the reasoning was for this. On my last visit the staff member that checked me out talked in a very condescending tone and quite frankly, was rude to me in a not so subtle way. Mind you, this was not every member of the front desk staff, as I did come across employees that were very kind.
I would return here because of Lia and the other staff and I would still recommend Central Texas Dermatology to anybody who asked me for a recommendation!

Struggled with a skin condition on my hands for almost a year, spreading to arms and body. Other dermatologist put me on antibiotic to treat bacterial infection - twice! without success. A friend recommended Dr. Zontan Trizna who helped his daughter after other dermatologist failed. I as disappointed that Dr. Tizna was on vacation and could not see me. My visit to Central Texas Dermatology turned thing around completely. Lisa Stratton was absolutely fabulous, her assistance wrote down all the steps I have to take to get my skin condition under control .... and within a week after my visit, my hands feel good for the fist time in a year. Thank you!!!! .. every single person in your office has been super kind, professional, and helpful.

Also, my insurance wouldn't cover one of the creams. I called their office, and they quicky helped me switch to another Pharmacy with great price.
I also had question about my symptoms and left messages on their online portal. Every time I got response from them within 2 hours, they really have the most professional team.
Really appreciate their great service and wonderful staff, I would definifely recommend this clinic to everyone!

I was referred to Dr. Emily Promised by Dr. Thrash, my dermatologist, as the go-to doctor for removal of a lipoma on the right bicep. An initial consultation on Monday was followed by surgery on Thursday. The staff was very friendly, helpful and cheerful despite masks and covid prevention and all. Surgery was a breeze and I was out of there in quick order. Painless and very easy. Highly recommend Dr. Prosise and her staff.
