Reset

The best time to start minor anti-aging treatments is when you first notice signs of aging.

Starting and maintaining treatments such as BOTOX® Cosmetic, Juv̩derm™ , Radiesse® , Restylane, and Sculptra in your twenties or thirties can actually slow the development of wrinkles. Annual treatments of FotoFacial will keep your skin tight and toned, delaying the need for more aggressive intervention.

Younger skin responds better to these treatments, and an ongoing series of minor "tweaks" throughout the years will help you avoid or postpone the downtime and radically altered look of more aggressive procedures.

Our doctors are happy to analyze your condition, explain your options, and outline a plan for looking good throughout your life.

Radiesse®

Radiesse®

Radiesse restores youthful volume, flexibility, and strength to aging skin on the face and hands. Tiny, calcium-based microspheres suspended in gel fill out wrinkles and lines immediately, while forming a scaffold to support and stimulate the growth of your own natural collagen.

These natural results continue for several months, and may last a year or more.

Conditions

FACIAL WRINKLES AND FOLDS Moderate to severe smile lines, marionette lines, lines at the corners of the mouth, pre-jowl hollowness, and chin wrinkles.

"OLD" HANDS Hands that display wrinkled skin and a lack of youthful volume.

The Treatment

Treatment takes just a few minutes. Radiesse is mixed with lidocaine to make the treatment as comfortable as possible.

Results are immediate, and recovery time is minimal.

The Schedule

A single treatment is often all you will need, but we recommend a follow-up visit to evaluate your progress. Over time, Radiesse is broken down and absorbed into your body. When your youthful looks begin to fade, in approximately one year, it's time to schedule another treatment.

Precautions

Prior to a Radiesse treatment you should avoid aspirin, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications, St. John's Wort, and high doses of Vitamin E supplements. This will minimize the risk of bruising and bleeding.

Let us know if you have ever had cold sores on your face. The doctor may prescribe a medication to minimize their chance of recurrence.

Effects of treatment may include swelling, redness, bruising, tenderness, or pain. These conditions should disappear in a week or less.
