 A dermatologist is a physician trained to provide medical and surgical care for diseases of the skin
, hair, and nails. Dr. Ramsdell received his training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he attended medical school followed by an internship in internal
medicine and a residency in dermatology. Dr. Ramsdell is a board-certified fellow of the American  Academy of Dermatology and holds
memberships in the American Society for Mohs Micrographic Surgery and multiple other related organizations. He has authored a number of scientific papers in the
fields of both medical and surgical dermatology. Dr. Ramsdell has practiced dermatology in Austin since 1983. Hobbies include art, gardening, fly-fishing, and hunting.
