A dermatologist is a physician trained to provide medical and surgical care for diseases of the skin, hair, and nails. Dr. Ramsdell received his training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he attended medical school followed by an internship in internal medicine and a residency in dermatology. Dr. Ramsdell is a board-certified fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and holds memberships in the American Society for Mohs Micrographic Surgery and multiple other related organizations. He has authored a number of scientific papers in the fields of both medical and surgical dermatology. Dr. Ramsdell has practiced dermatology in Austin since 1983. Hobbies include art, gardening, fly-fishing, and hunting.
