The best time to start minor anti-aging treatments is when you first notice signs of aging.

Starting and maintaining treatments such as BOTOX® Cosmetic, Juvéderm™ , Radiesse® , Restylane, and Sculptra in your twenties or thirties can actually slow the development of wrinkles. Annual treatments of FotoFacial will keep your skin tight and toned, delaying the need for more aggressive intervention.

Younger skin responds better to these treatments, and an ongoing series of minor "tweaks" throughout the years will help you avoid or postpone the downtime and radically altered look of more aggressive procedures.

Our doctors are happy to analyze your condition, explain your options, and outline a plan for looking good throughout your life.

FotoFacial™ | Intense Pulsed Light | IPL®

FotoFacial eliminates a wide range of skin conditions and flaws on the face and upper body. A series of non-invasive treatments spaced three or four weeks apart delivers the best results and requires little to no downtime.

Similar treatments are known as Photofacial, PhotoFacial, Photo Facial, PhotoRejuvenation, and photorejuvenation.

Conditions

AGING, PIGMENTED, OR RED SKIN Sun damage, fine wrinkles, lax skin, large pores, irregular pigmentation, rosacea, redness, brown spots, freckles, or dilated blood vessels on the face, neck, chest, arms, or hands.

The Treatment

After applying an anesthetic cream we use a laser device to direct precisely controlled pulses of energy in mutiple wavelengths through your skin. Dilated blood vessels, excessively pigmented skin, and damaged skin tissue absorb the heat and are destroyed. The laser also stimulates collagen production, which diminishes wrinkles and fine lines. Because the laser is non-ablative, the surface of your skin is untouched.

The Schedule

Most patients need five one-hour treatments spaced three or four weeks apart. Many patients also require a refresher treatment once every six months.

Precautions

All skin types respond well. Mild redness for up to 24 hours after a treatment is common. Blistering, bruising, increased or decreased pigmentation, and scarring are rare side effects.
